On my winter 2019 trip to the Colorado Plateau, I was wandering through this canyon after a significant snow fall and found this tree bent over with another tree growing up against it. Together, they seemed to complete a half circle, and with all the branches covered in snow, it offset itself from the often cluttered background. I’ve hiked past this tree many times, but on this particular morning, I was very drawn to it and made a few exposures of it during a moment of very strong reflected light inside the canyon.
