Calibrating Digital Negatives for Alternative Process Prints

What the heck is a density?
In my teaching experience over the last 5 years, digital negatives are commonly the most confusing and off-putting aspect of printing your own work - but they don’t have to be! The workshop will be held in my newly remodeled studio and darkroom, where I’ll guide you through the process of creating and calibrating your own perfect digital negatives from an inkjet negative, a piezography negative, or an imagesetter negative in this two-day hands-on workshop.
Note: We will make demonstrational prints during this workshop, but they are catered for instruction and information. While specific processes will not be taught during this workshop, either a silver, cyanotype, or platinum print process will be demonstrated for instructional purposes.
