After I exposed a few frames of film near the lakeside, I quickly moved over to an area where I knew there was an abundance of wildflowers. As the earth shadow was quickly racing up the sky, I found this group of flowers with the rising mist from the small pond in the background. In the distance, the Cirque of the Towers can be seen rising sharply from the valley, catching the first color of sunrise.
