This image was created in 2017 at one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited - Lake O’Hara in Canada. This backcountry lodge can be one of the most difficult reservations to book and the campgrounds are just as elusive. But, after a fresh early snow, can’t you see why? I can almost see myself sitting on the front porch of that cabin with a cup of hot tea, watching the snow pile up. Instead, I was stuck inside a cold tent at the top of the hill…but I’m definitely not complaining.
