Agave are some of my favorite plants to photograph. They are generally so vibrant in color and their shapes are hypnotic. I photographed this agave deep inside the Grand Canyon on a river trip in 2018. As the sun was beginning to set, the canyon filled with a wonderful golden glow of reflected light, which balanced this scene so well.
