Morning in the desert in winter near a stream, and there’s a good chance you’ll find me. That’s the time where a light coating of ice forms atop the shallower areas near the river’s edge and creates incredible and unique patterns. This image almost appears as if the rock in the center has exploded as the reflection from the high cliffs above cast golden light down onto the ice.
