This remote arch seems so misplaced on the landscape when you walk up to it for the first time. With such a barren landscape surrounding it, it’s a wonder how exactly this arch was formed. With Navajo Mountain being framed inside the arch, and how the sun perfectly strikes it at sunset, perhaps the photography gods placed it there long, long ago.
