Towering at least a hundred feet above the water, imagining that only 10% of this block of ice is actually visible boggles the mind. At least a quarter of a mile wide, this tabular iceberg was one of the smaller ones we sailed past on our last expedition to Antarctica and our first on our journey through the Drake Passage. Witnessing this massive iceberg come floating out of the mist was hauntingly beautiful, and still gives me goosebumps to this day.
