Advanced Platinum Palladium Workshop
April 4-7, 2024
Platinum Printing with Film Negatives, Japanese Paper, & More
Are you already well acquainted with the platinum process, but want to expand your creative options a bit further? In this 4-day workshop, we will photograph a still-life scene with a large format camera, develop the film, and make a print using advanced techniques to control contrast and density without the use of a computer. Then, we will work on printing techniques specific to handmade Japanese tissue paper, and finally dive into techniques to deepen blacks and add further depth to a platinum print.
