This was an unbelievable evening. My wife and I had been chasing this thunderstorm for the entire afternoon, and ended up just outside of my hometown in Kansas. We pulled off at this field of hay bales and I set up my panoramic camera to see what I could get. Within minutes, the sun broke through the clouds behind me, sending these beams of light through the sky and into the ominous storm behind it. I shot a few frames and only after a short time, the light disappeared.
